The deadline for CSUCI Scholarships was February 13, 2010. Scholarship decisions for aid year 2010-2011 will be made by April 19, 2010. We encourage all students who are interested in applying for these scholarships to apply for the 2011-2012 CSUCI Scholarships this coming November.
A complete CI Scholarship application includes an online application and two letters of recommendation. Current high school seniors and new transfer students must submit their most recent grade transcript to the admission office. Start requesting your recommendation letters to be mailed to you early enough to allow you to forward the two best letters to the scholarship office. Only complete applications will be sent to committee for review.
The California State University Foundation works with donors interested in funding scholarship opportunities on a system wide basis. Currently, the CSU Foundation administers over $5 million in annual and endowed scholarships. Click here to find out more about programs and eligibility requirements.
There are many individuals and agencies in Ventura County that offer scholarships. Counselors at local high schools and community colleges are an excellent source of information and guidance regarding these scholarships. A major source of community support is the Ventura County Community Foundation.
The 2010-2011 community scholarship application deadline is January 8, 2010 at 5 p.m. Please note that this year, registration is required for all applicants. Students must register online by January 5, 2010.
